Currently the main means by which insurance policies are acquired are agents, brokers and bancassurance. However, competition in this sector has increased in recent years in the digital environment, where a large part of insurance companies have started selling policies through digital channels. This has reduced administrative and distribution costs of their products. However, it is no longer necessary to be an insurer to offer online sales, but thanks to digital initiatives by insurance providers, agents and brokers can digitize the sale channels of their products.
